There are many new features all outlined in the readme. You need an xs and xml file which is the main part of the map, they go in user-my document-my games-age of empires 3- rm(vanilla) or rm2(warchiefs) or rm3(asian dynasties) depending on which version the map was made for. Scripting can be used to transform Crafted Maps into mission-like scenarios. Im pretty sure I have that map myself somewhere. By adding or modifying a number of lines in the main 'recipe' of a map's script, you can spawn units, define locations, and dictate AI behaviors.
